Fine Lines Atelier ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through finelinesatelier.com and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you submit a booking request through our website, we ask for:

• Name, phone number, and email address, so we can contact you about your appointment.
• Date of birth, to verify that you are at least 18 years old. Permanent makeup and tattoo services are legally restricted to adults, and we are required to confirm age.
• Mailing address, for our client records and intake paperwork.
• The service you're requesting and any notes you choose to share, including questions, inspiration, or relevant background.

After we confirm your appointment, we may also ask you to send us a photo of the area to be serviced, by email or direct message, so we can assess suitability and prepare for your service. Sending a photo is your choice, and photos are handled as described below.

You may also share health information with us before or during your appointment (for example, allergies, medications, skin conditions, or pregnancy). We collect this only to determine whether a service is safe and appropriate for you.

Information collected automatically

Our website is a static site. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when your browser requests the font files.

How we use your information

• To respond to your booking request and schedule your appointment.
• To verify your age and eligibility for the services you request.
• To assess whether a service is suitable for you and to plan and prepare for it.
• To provide aftercare guidance and follow up during your healing period.
• To maintain client and service records, including records we are required by law or health regulation to keep.
• To comply with our legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your photos

Photos you send us as part of a booking request are used to evaluate and plan your service. We will not publish, post, or otherwise share your photos publicly, including on social media, without your separate and explicit consent. If you would like a photo removed from our records, email us and we will delete it, unless we are required to retain it as part of a service record.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:

• Web3Forms processes the booking form and delivers your submission to our email inbox.
• Cloudflare hosts the website and provides security and delivery infrastructure.
• Our email provider, which stores the booking requests we receive.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or a valid request from a public authority, or where necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep booking requests and client records for as long as needed to provide services, maintain our business records, and satisfy legal, tax, and health-regulation requirements. Records tied to a performed service are generally kept longer than an unbooked inquiry. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your choices

You may contact us at aleena@finelinesatelier.com to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to retain.
• Withdraw consent for any optional use, such as photo sharing.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. We will honor valid requests to the extent the law requires.

Children

Our services are for adults only. Our website and services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to booking submissions is limited. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, so please check back periodically.
